Yes. If the machine cycle time is long enough, one robot can tend two machines. The calculator works out the number of robots from the cycle time.

What does the CNC machine need?

An automatic door and workholding that can be controlled via I/O. Most modern machines can be retrofitted.

How is the value of extra capacity calculated?

You enter the contribution margin per extra machine hour. If you cannot sell more capacity, set it to 0 and only labour savings are counted.
